The latest public notices in the Maidenhead Advertiser including a licensing application by the owners of a golf simulator facility in Maidenhead and road closures in the Royal Borough.
Licensing
A new golf simulator facility based at the Watermark development in Maidenhead town centre is seeking permission from the council to sell alcohol.
The Golf Performance Studio launched its new venture at Trinity Place, St Ives Road last month.
The venue, based next to A Hoppy Place, offers golfers the opportunity to play virtual versions of real-world golf courses on its TrackMan simulator.
Coaching and practice sessions for people of all ages and abilities are also available for those interested in the game of golf.
The company is seeking permission from the council to sell alcohol at its site from 10am to 9pm, Monday to Sunday.
Anyone wishing to make written representations about the application must write to Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, Licensing Team, Town Hall, St Ives Road, Maidenhead, SL6 1RF within 28 days.
Traffic
A closure will be in place in Warren Row Road next week.
The road will be shut between the boundaries of a property known as Blacksmiths Barn from 10pm on Tuesday, December 16 to 6pm on Wednesday, December 17.
A diversion route will be in place via Warren Row Road, Upper Culham Lane, Henley Road and Rose Lane.
The closure has been authorised so a nearby water connection can be installed by Thames Water.
