Heathrow Airport received 3,944 noise complaints from Slough residents in a three month period - with all the reports originating from just 22 people.
The airport has released statistics to detail the number of noise complaints it received between July 1 and September 30, and where they came from.
In Windsor and Maidenhead, 3,001 complaints were made by a total of 283 people.
Heathrow also released figures to show how many times individual people complained about the noise, showing that three people had complained more than 1,280 times each.
The top 10 complainants made up almost half of all complaints the airport received. Between the 10 of them, they made 12,312 complaints - meaning 0.5 per cent of complainants made up 48.86 per cent of all complaints.
