Man suffers ‘serious injuries’ following assault outside Slough pub

A man is in hospital with ‘serious injuries’ after being punched in the face outside a pub in Slough.

At about 1.30am on Sunday, a 28-year-old man became involved in an altercation with two other men outside The Lemon Tree in Wexham Road.

The 28-year-old, the victim, and one of the offenders had been removed from the pub by staff members.

Once outside, the victim was punched in the face by one of the men and fell to the ground.

One of the attackers is described as black, in his mid to late 20s and about 6ft tall. He was said to have been wearing a puffa jacket and cap.

The other offender was described as black.

Following the assault, the men left in a silver five series BMW.

The victim was taken to hospital and is now being treated for serious injuries.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Dan Spiers said: “This incident has left the victim with serious injuries, for which he is currently receiving treatment in hospital.

“I would like to appeal to anyone who was there who witnessed the incident to contact police. Any information you have could be important to the investigation so I would urge anyone who has any details to come forward.

“I would also like to urge anyone who may have seen a silver five series BMW around the time of the incident to contact police.”
