Langley firefighters were required to extinguish two fires in quick succession this afternoon.
The crew were initially called to a wheelie bin fire in High Street, Colnbrook, at about 5pm which took about four minutes to extinguish, leaving the bin completely destroyed.
While out on that call firefighters were then dispatched to Mill Street in Colnbrook where a crate of cardboard was on fire.
This fire was also put out in about four minutes and caused no further damage.
Firefighters said it was lucky the fire did not spread as it was near a shop and housing.
