Man arrested after two people attacked with a golf club in Slough

A 35-year-old man has been arrested after two people were attacked with a golf club in Slough on Friday night (January 13).

The assault occurred in Chalvey Road West at around 8pm, and saw two men, one in their fifties and one in their thirties, attacked by two others whilst they were walking along the road.

The offenders used a golf club and their fists to attack the men and caused injuries that left the victims needing hospital treatment.

They have both since been discharged.

One of the offenders is described as white, aged around 30 and of stocky build, and was wearing a light grey beanie hat, a black and grey puffa jacket with a hood, dark blue jeans and black trainers.

The other offender is described as either southern European or Asian, aged around 30 and of stocky build. He was wearing a black puffa jacket with a hood, dark coloured jeans and had dark brown/black gelled hair.

A man from Slough has been arrested in connection on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent and assault of a person thereby occasioning them actual bodily harm. He has been released on bail.

Investigating officer, Detective Constable Elisabeth O’Brien, based at Slough police station, said: “We would like to appeal to anybody who may have witnessed this incident to please get in touch.
