Man convicted for multiple burglaries around Windsor and South Bucks

A 28-year-old man has been convicted for burglaries in Ascot, Windsor, and Stoke Poges.

Edmond Ndreca, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to four counts of dwelling burglary and theft at Guildford Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, May 10.

He also pleaded guilty on one count each of attempted dwelling burglary with intent to steal and possess/control a false/improperly obtained/another person’s identity document.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Yasmin Senussi, of the Windsor and Maidenhead Priority Crime Team, said: “Thames Valley Police is committed to bringing burglars to justice as it is an incredibly invasive crime.

“Edmond Ndreca’s conviction will hopefully serve a lesson to others who seek to commit burglaries that we will investigate and look to put offenders before the courts.

“The victims are pleased Ndreca has been brought to justice and that some of their stolen possessions have been found.

“I would also like to thank our colleagues at Surrey Police for their support.”

Sometime between midday on April 10 and 10.45am on April 14, Ndreca smashed a conservatory window and broke into an address in Neville Close in Stoke Poges.

He then forced entry to the inner window with a screwdriver or implement.

Once inside, Ndreca conducted a messy search and stole a large amount of jewellery, three knives and a notepad tablet.

Sometime between 8.50am and 11.30am on April 19, Ndreca broke into an address in Stirling Close in Windsor, through a kitchen window and stole a large amount of jewellery.

Sometime between 3pm and 7.15pm on May 8, Ndreca smashed a conservatory window and broke into an address in Cedar Drive in Ascot, before conducting a messy search and stealing several items, including a large amount of jewellery.

Ndreca was arrested on Tuesday May 9 and charged by both forces on Wednesday (May 10).

Some items were also found in Ndreca’s vehicle, which officers were able to identify as being stolen during the burglaries.

Ndreca was also convicted for offences in Surrey at the court hearing. He is due to be sentenced on 9 June.
