Another popular bank is set to close its doors for good at a branch in Slough.
Lloyds Bank in Buckingham Avenue will close permanently at the end of the week.
A spokesperson said customers can use Lloyds Bank branch on Slough High Street for their banking, alongside other options such as the Post Office, online, mobile and telephone banking.
The branch in Slough Trading Estate will close on October 5.
A spokesperson said: “As many customers now choose to bank online or through their mobile app, visits to our Slough Buckingham Avenue branch have fallen over recent years.
"When the branch closes this week, customers can continue to bank with us online, over the phone, in person at our Slough High Street branch, or the local nearby Post Office.”
According to Lloyds, 88 per cent of personal customers already use other ways of banking, such as mobile, internet or phone banking, as well as other branches.
The bank confirmed that there has been no announcement to close the Slough High Street branch.
