A 31-year-old man has been jailed for a burglary and two attempted burglaries in Slough.
Andrzej Bojanowski was kicking and running at residential doors in Scarborough Way while drunk, until he managed to get inside of one at around 6am on November 20 last year.
Bojanowski of Romsey Road, Winchester, also broke in to a caravan parked on a driveway.
He was sentenced to four-and-a-half years in prison at Reading Crown Court on Friday (October 20).
A jury found Bojanowski guilty of one count of burglary dwelling with intent to steal and two counts of attempted burglary dwelling with intent to steal after a five-day trial at the same court.
He was charged on March 16 this year.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Peter Fitzer said: “Thames Valley Police is committed to bringing burglars to justice as it is an incredibly invasive crime.
“Andrzej Bojanowski caused serious and lasting distress to the victims and local community. There is no place for this behaviour within our community.
“Bojanowski’s sentencing will hopefully serve a lesson to others who seek to commit burglaries that we will always look to put offenders before the courts.”
