Firefighters had to be called after a pile-up blocked traffic on the M4.
The incident, involving three cars, happened at about 3.30pm yesterday at the slip-road with the M25.
Fire crews form Langley, Slough and Windsor cleared the vehicles on to the hard shoulder to prevent further delays.
Police and the Highways Agency were also called, while six people were treated by paramedics.
