Charity ball plays tribute to Thunderbirds co-creator Sylvia Anderson

A ball in aid of Breast Cancer Care paid tribute to Thunderbirds co-creator Sylvia Anderson on Friday, May 6.

The Pink FAB Ball at The Landmark Hotel in London was attended by celebrities Thomas Brodie-Sangster from Game of Thrones and Leighton Jones from The Voice, who performed.

The iconic puppet show was filmed on the Slough Trading Estate.

Tributes were paid to Bray resident Sylvia who passed away at the age of 88 in March.

The evening was hosted by Barry Cryer who wrote a moving tribute poem to his friend.

Belinda Kassinen from Star Eventure Characters, a lookalike agency, provided Thunderbirds characters at the event.

She said: “The ball was absolutely lovely, a great evening.”
