A burning car in Walton Lane had to be put out in Slough last night after firefighters were called by another driver.
Fire officers from Slough were called to the fire at about midnight and used water to put out the silver Ford car, which was completely destroyed.
Crew manager Martin Howlett said: “We were called by a female driver who had been sent down the country road through her sat nav.
“She noticed the car was on fire when she got closer and rang us up.
“We suspect the cause of the fire is arson as the car has a Maidenhead address.”
