Thames Valley Police has charged a man in connection with a rape in Slough Cemetery and Crematorium.
Christopher Rode, aged 30, of Granville Avenue, Slough, was charged this morning (Friday) with two counts of rape of a woman 16 years of age or over, one count of Section 18 – grievous bodily harm with intent, one count of threats to kill and one count of possession of a controlled class B drug, namely cannabis.
The charges are in connection with an incident involving a 56-year-old woman at the crematorium in Stoke Road on Monday and a drugs offence yesterday (Thursday).
Rode was arrested yesterday (Thursday) and is due to appear at Slough Magistrates’ Court today (Friday).
