Year 13 students at Upton Court Grammar School were in ‘tears of joy’ at their leavers’ day on Friday.
In an emotional farewell to staff and friends, this year’s year 13s marked the end of seven years at the school with a special leavers’ assembly.
Led by head boy Joseph Chadwell, the assembly moved students with singing and dancing performances, speeches, awards and video clips celebrating students’ time at the school.
Upton’s final year pupils will soon take their final A-level exams, with most of them having unconditional offers for university.
Upton Court Grammar School principal, Mercedes Hernández Estrada, said: “This was a very special leavers’ day made more so by the moving speeches and generosity of spirit of our wonderful year 13 students.
“We will miss them and look forward to hearing about their future achievements.”
