Two Arbour Vale School students represented England in Athens as part of a 27-strong team who handed the Olympic flame to Brazil.
This year’s International School Sports Federation World School Sport Education Games saw the team from England competing alongside teams from Brazil, Bulgaria, China, Cyprus and France.
Students got to run with Olympic Marathon gold medallist Rosa Mota through the ancient Olympic site before breaking a sweat during football and basketball challenges.
The games kicked off in the ancient city of Olympia, where the teams stayed in the Olympic IOC Headquarters.
The team then went to Athens and took part in the Olympic torch relay Marathon, handing over the iconic torch to Brazil in the 1986 Olympic stadium.
