A court date has been set for a man who has been charged in with a rape in Slough Cemetery and Crematorium.
Christopher Rode, 30, of Granville Avenue, Slough, is due to appear at Reading Crown Court on Monday, June 13.
Rode was charged on Friday, May 13 with two counts of rape of a woman 16 years of age or over, one count of Section 18 – grievous bodily harm with intent, one count of threats to kill and one count of possession of a controlled class B drug, namely cannabis.
The charges are in connection with an incident involving a 56-year-old woman at the crematorium in Stoke Road on Monday, May 9, and a drugs offence on Thursday, May 12.
