Rail disruption is expected to continue between London Paddington and Reading until the end of the day, following damage to overhead electric wires in the West Ealing area.
Great Western Railway (GWR) has warned passengers for Maidenhead and Slough that trains may be cancelled or delayed. Rail services to Heathrow Airport are also affected.
All lines have now reopened after the incident was first reported this morning, but fewer trains are able to run on some lines.
National Rail has said GWR, the Elizabeth line and Heathrow Express trains may be revised, cancelled, or delayed while 'the service recovers'.
Elizabeth line and GWR tickets can be used, at no extra cost, on other rail services, including South Western Railway trains from London Waterloo.
