Maidenhead United kept pace with the front runners in the National League South as they claimed their fifth straight league victory with a 1-0 win at Maidstone United this afternoon.
Slough Town were left stewing over a couple of controversial refereeing decisions as they collapsed to a 5-2 defeat at home to league leaders Hornchurch this afternoon.

The Rebels have made a steady if unspectacular start to the season and sit 16th in the table after losing 4-2 at Torquay United a couple of weeks ago. Before that though, they went four unbeaten in the league, claiming victories over Ebbsfleet United and Chippenham Town in that run. They're also fairly solid at home and have taken some sizeable scalps in the past few seasons.
Hornchurch have made an excellent start to their league campaign. They're so far unbeaten having won six and drawn two of their eight matches this season. Daryl McMahon's side have drawn two of their last four in the league though and bowed out of the FA Cup last weekend following a 2-1 defeat to Peterborough Sports.

The majority of applications for grants from the Trust are received by post from local and national charities and organisations that are aware of the Trust. The Trust supports all sections of the community in the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead and actively encourages applications for grants from the Trust.The bulk of donations are made to benefit the elderly and the young, although many other groups including the Arts are also supported.
