A Maidenhead family’s campaign for a permanent mural to remember their late 16-year-old son and brother and ‘keep his memory alive’ has raised more than £1,500.
A charity shop doesn’t just raise money for a good cause, it relies on charitable donations to help keep its shelves well-stocked throughout the year.
Following its success at the weekend, organisers plan to make the Hobby Festival an annual event to celebrate the creativity and diversity of Slough’s residents.

Charities and good causes in Henley have been awarded grants totalling almost £12,000 from the Louis Baylis Trust, which owns the Henley Standard. It made the awards following an application process last year.
