It was difficult for Magpies boss Alan Devonshire to fault the effort of his players in Tuesday’s 2-1 defeat at high-flying AFC Totton, but he accepted his side weren’t quite clicking in the final third as they fell to their third straight league defeat.
Before their National League South clash last night (Tuesday) the players of AFC Totton and Maidenhead United held a minute’s applause in memory of former player Kath Heath, who has passed away at the age of 34.
Maidenhead United have launched a community-based weight loss programme that uses football as a catalyst to bring men together socially and competitively while supporting lasting lifestyle changes.
Maidenhead United slipped to sixth in the National League South table on Tuesday evening as Josh Popoola’s fabulous first half strike was cancelled out by Tonbridge Angels at York Road.

The Trust supports all sections of the community in the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead and actively encourages applications for grants from the Trust.The bulk of donations are made to benefit the elderly and the young, although many other groups including the Arts are also supported.
