Witnesses to a daylight assault in Langley are being urged to come forward by police.

The incident happened just after midday in Willoughby Road on Tuesday.

A man in his 30s fell to the ground after being assaulted by another man.

The attacker then left in the direction of Thames Road and it is believed he may have got into a small white vehicle.

The victim sustained minor injuries to his foot and leg but did not require hospital treatment.

The offender is described as approximately 5ft 7ins, aged between 25 to 35-years-old, of medium build with light brown skin and short black hair.

Detective Sergeant Jenny O’Neill, of Slough CID, said: “As part of our ongoing investigation, we have carried out house to house inquiries. However, we are very keen to hear from anyone else who may have information but has not yet come forward to do so immediately.

“The incident happened during daylight in a residential street which may have attracted some passing attention.”
