The family of a motorcyclist who died after crashing into the central reservation of the M4 last month are continuing to appeal for witnesses as nobody has come forward with information.
Richard Burton, 56, was driving westbound on the outside lane at Junction 6 in Slough on Thursday, October 20, at about 6.50pm.
Police were called to reports that the father-of-two’s Suzuki 650 DL motorcycle had crashed into the central reservation.
The IT technician from London was taken to John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford and died the following week from head injuries.
His wife Fiona Flaherty told the Express: “I would like somebody to have the courage to come forward to say ‘actually I did see something’.”
Mrs Flaherty has been appealing for witnesses on her Facebook page and to other community groups.
She added: “On the M4 at that time of night I couldn’t believe that thousands of people didn’t see anything, it doesn’t make sense.”
