A man was treated in hospital for several injuries following an assault and kidnap in Slough yesterday (Saturday).
Officers received a call at 7.40pm about the incident in Concorde Road.
An Asian man was assaulted close to a silver VW Passat by a number of black men and then the vehicle drove off with the man in the car.
Police located the victim, he then received hospital treatment for injuries to his hand, back and head. According to officers his injuries are not life-threatening or life-changing.
In a separate incident at 3am today, police were called to an address in Blair Road after reports that two black men, wearing balaclavas and one with a gun, knocked at the door of a property.
The men, who had Birmingham accents, then drove off in a silver VW Passat.
Police believe the two incidents are linked and the same car is involved.
A 23-year-old man from Slough has been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to possess a firearm with intent to cause fear/violence and remains in custody.
