Police are hunting two men who stole cash from a bingo hall in Slough armed with a gun and what was thought to be a sword or a baton.
The pair entered Gala Bingo in Bath Road as it was closing at about 9.10pm on Tuesday and demanded money from the reception before emptying the cash tray into a bag.
The two men then fled in a grey Saab car.
The first man was described as wearing a dark coloured hooded top, a dark face covering, trainers, and was carrying a black and white bag.
The second man was described as wearing a dark coloured hooded top with the hood up, a dark face covering or balaclava, white trainers and dark trousers.
No one is believed to have been hurt in the incident.
Investigating officer Detective Sergeant Pete said: “I would like to speak to anyone who witnessed this incident, or who may have any information about it.
“Anyone who thinks that they may know the offenders, or who recognises the description of them should get in touch via the Thames Valley Police non-emergency number 101.”
