Waiting restrictions, new parking zones and a temporary road closure in Slough feature in this week’s public notices.
Parking
A new L2 parking zone has been made, creating residents permit holders only parking areas in Ellis Avenue, Arthur Road, Henry Road, Everard Avenue (currently P4 zone), Hillside, Ledger’s Road and Montem Lane.
The parking areas are in operation at all times.
Additionally, waiting restrictions operating at all times will also be introduced into certain sections of these roads, and/or the lengths of the current restrictions would be extended.
The order made by Slough Borough Council (SBC) also states that existing single yellow line waiting restrictions would also be turned into double yellow line waiting restrictions.
These will operate at all times on Baylis Road, north side, from its junction with Stoke Poges Lane to outside 2a Baylis Road, Ledger’s Road, both sides, from its junction with Bath Road to its junction with Montem Lane, Montem Lane, outside number 53, Simpson Way, both sides for their whole lengths.
It also includes Stoke Poges Lane, east and south east side from its junction with Bath Road to 31 Stoke Poges Lane, excluding the layby to the rear of 22 to 27 Conegar Court, and Stoke Poges Lane, west and north west sides, from its junction with Bath Road to 14 Stoke Poges Lane.
Elsewhere, a new P3 parking zone has been established by introducing residents permit holders only parking areas into Seymour Road and Bourne Road.
The parking areas will be in operation ‘at all times’ and waiting restrictions which will also operate at all times will be introduced into certain parts of these roads, and/or the lengths of the current restrictions would be extended.
