Energetic staff at a Sainsbury's supermarket in Slough abandoned their checkouts on Tuesday as they raised money for Sport Relief.
Setting off from the Uxbridge Road store, eight colleagues pulled on their trainers and ran to Maidenhead, helping raise £1,000 for the charity in the process.
The seven-mile route saw colleagues, wearing bright red Sport Relief tops, run and occasionally walk to the finish line at the Sainsbury's store in Providence Place, Maidenhead.
Bakery manager Tom Potter, 27, was first to finish as he completed the challenge within an hour.
The Sport Relief fun continues at the Slough store today with a number of activities taking place until Sunday.
Store manager Scott Porteous said: "Our customers have been fantastic in getting behind our Sport Relief fundraising in previous years and we hope the bouncy castle, penalty shoot-out activities will ensure we are on the right track to another great fundraising campaign."
Sport Relief raises money to help vulnerable people both in the UK and in the world's poorest countries.
