Three men have been arrested over an assault where a woman was stabbed in the back outside a Slough betting shop yesterday evening (February 24).
The woman, in her 40s, suffered the injury after a fight between several people broke out by BetFred in High Street between 6.30pm and 7.45pm.
She remains in hospital where she is being treated for the stab wound as well as a broken arm and facial injuries.
The three men remain in custody in connection to the assault which police have termed occasioning grievous bodily harm.
Police have also asked witnesses and anyone with information to come forward.
Investigating officer Detective Sergeant Tom Harman, based at Slough police station, said:
“This was a very serious assault which has left a woman requiring hospital treatment.
“We’ve made three arrests but our investigation is continuing and I’d like to appeal to anyone who can help us to come forward.
“If you saw this happen, or if you have any other information at all which you think could be relevant, please get in touch as soon as possible.
