A CANCER charity in Charvil is repeating a fundraising initiative to upcycle unwanted clothes.
My Cancer My Choices in Old Bath Road has teamed up with Frankie and Ruby Dress Agency in Newbury, which sells pre-loved clothes.
Men’s, women’s and children’s clothes, and shoes tied together in pairs can be dropped at the Charvil headquarters. Items must be high-quality and sellable.
At least 50 per cent of each item resold or recycled by the company will be donated to the charity to fund complementary therapies for cancer patients.
Last year, the initiative raised more than £2,000.
The charity offers a range of therapies to people in Berkshire undergoing cancer treatment to manage pain, fatigue and emotional distress. For more information, visit tiny url.com/mr2n3pbs
