Live blog: Slough Town v Bath City

70' The game has been stopped due to a  medical incident in the crowd. The supporter is being treated by the club's medical staff and has been given plenty of room by the other supporters over behind the goal. Hopefully all is well.

63' It's a second goal for Bath City with Cody Cooke scoring from close range following a flick on at a corner. Well well well, are we set for a classic at Arbour Park. It's 4-2 with half an hour to play

It can't have been done too many times. In any league at any level?!

59' The hosts may have to weather a bit of a storm here from City. They just need to see out these next 10 minutes or so without conceding again or it could become nervier than it should be 4-1

58' Goddard goes through on the left but his shot is a weak one and easily saved. 4-1

57' Goal for Bath. Ewan Clarke lifts the ball over Lincoln after being played clean through. Good finish from the Romans there.

It followed a good, volleyed effort from Ogbonna that Casa-Grande saved well and the home side were then caught on the break by the visitors. 4-1

55' Dan Hayfield sends a free-kick flashing over the bar for Bath. Never  had Lincoln really troubled. 4-0

52' Bath whip a cross into the box from the right but it's a comfortable take for Dan Lincoln, who we haven't seen much of today. 4-0

51' Another decent chance for Slough with Temi Eweka rising to head wide from a corner. 4-0

50' Nearly a fifth for the Rebels in the 50th minute, Spasov - who is on a hat-trick gets in on goal but Casa Grande saves at his near post once again. He's probably been Bath's man of the match, which says a lot. 4-0

After the frenetic start to the first half, this one has been much more calm. Slough just playing the ball around without making too much of an effort to break down Bath. Taking the sting out of the Romans' response through possession. 4-0

Couple of changes for the visitors at half-time

The players take to the field for the second half. More of the same from the Rebels please! Surely, we'll see a reaction from Bath City, however, Slough look to have the confidence to absorb that and go again!

Half-time: Slough Town 4, Bath City 0

'42' A fourth for the Rebels before half-time! They're running rampant here.

38' GOAL! But they do get in this time. The Rebels press leads to Ogbonna picking up the ball one-on-one with Casa-Grande and he keeps his cool to roll home Slough's third. What a half from the home side! 3-0

37' Spasov  gets in again behind the Romans defence but  he never looked assured as he bore down on goal and Casa-Grande saved well at his near post. Could so easily have been 3-0 there.

Was it John Motson who said: 'Can somebody do something about that' - pointing at the sun. I feel his pain. Bit of a lull as the Rebels take the sting out of the game here. 2-0

Just over 10 minutes to go to half-time and the Rebels are in total control right now and I'm praying for a little cloud cover. Can hardly see a thing, but I know the home side have been very good! 2-0

27' GOAL!!!! A second for the Rebels and it's a brilliant strike from Johnny Goddard. He picks it up on the edge of the Romans box and rolls a beautiful shot beyond Casa-Grande into the bottom left hand corner of the goal. Wonderful stuff and a wonderful start from Slough 2-0

25' Goddard escapes away down the left side of the Romans' defence once again and gets to the byline but his attempt to pick out Slough players at the back post is cut out. From the corner, Bayliss heads over having run in at full pelt. 1-0

21' The sun is out but it's raining again at Arbour Park. One of those funny afternoons. Bath have played their way back into this game now and it's been much more even these past five  minutes. However, Davies has said the Rebels must play with the 'handbrake off' in their remaining games, so expect them to push forward when they can! 1-0

18' The ball almost drops kindly in the box from Chambers-Parillon's cross, but Johnny Goddard isn't able to get his shot away. They looked threatening again there. 1-0

Some fans may not agree but I like the green strip. It looks sharp and the hosts have made a sharp start. They may also make a little more money for Thames Hospice this afternoon if they can win in this strip. 1-0

Incredible, Slavi Spasov has now scored three first minute goals in his last few matches. The Rebels are making a habit of fast starts. It's given them the edge here. 1-0

10' Great chance for Parselle from a corner for Bath City. He's left all alone from a corner but gets it all wrong and heads the ball well over the bar. That was a big chance for the Romans but it's gone begging. 1-0

8' After eight minutes the game has settled down a little with Bath finally managing to get a foot on the ball and calm things down. Slough look like they're ready to pounce and hit them on the break though. 1-0

4' Spasov nearly gets in again but his goalbound effort is blocked behind for a corner. From the corner, Dan Bayliss nearly scores at the far post with a header, but his effort is kept out by Casa-Grande again! The visitor's keeper has been very busy in the opening five minutes! 1-0

2' We've had an incredible start here and Bath City look a bit shellshocked. David Ogbonna was just picked out at the back post and was only denied by a smart save from Casa-Grande. It's all the Rebels so far and they lead 1-0.

1' The Rebels take the lead in the very first minute through Slavi Spasov!

Bath City kick the game underway and it's so bright now I can barely see my laptop screen.

After today's game against the Romans, the Rebels face three away games at Taunton Town, Braintree and Havant & Waterlooville, so a positive result seems crucial to their play-off hopes today.

The teams line up in the tunnel ready to take to the field at Arbour Park.

Here are today's teams.

Slough Town are also playing in a special green kit to mark a charity day in aid of Thames Hospice. There are various activities and events going on to mark that and there will be entertainment on the pitch at half-time. Money is being raised for the hospice throughout and the shirts worn by Slough this afternoon are also being auctioned off for the charity.

This afternoon's clash promises to be a tough one for the Rebels. They sneaked a 2-1 win over Bath City earlier in the season thanks to a close range finish from Slavi Spasov and a brilliant free kick from Scott Davies, but the visitors were under the cosh for a lot of the clash at Twerton Park and the Romans will have revenge in their mind ahead of kick-off this afternoon.

Welcome to Arbour Park where Slough Town take on play-off/promotion rivals Bath City. A win this afternoon would take the Rebels to within a point of the Romans, currently fifth in National League South. Scott Davies' side are also on an incredible run of form at home, having gone 18 matches in all competitions without defeat. A positive result today would extend that to 19 matches and keep them in the mix for a top seven finish. The 10th placed Rebels are on a nice run of form, having won four of their last five matches, including last weekend's last-gasp 2-1 victory at Tonbridge Angels.
