WARGRAVE WOMEN ran out comfortable 5-0 winners at WOKINGHAM TOWN LADIES last Sunday in their Division 3 South encounter.
Alison Richardson headed a Georgina Evans corner home to give the visitors the lead. Evans went on to add two goals while Katie Hawkes and Beth Williams also got their names on the scoresheet for the visitors.
GORING UNITED WOMEN went down to a 3-1 home defeat against Division 3 West league leaders THATCHAM AND NEWBURY TOWN LADIES BLUES. Emily Biddle netted the home side’s only goal of the game after 29 minutes.
Elsewhere in the division, ROTHERFIELD UNITED WOMEN drew 2-2 at DIDCOT TOWN LADIES DEVELOPMENT. Katherine Horwood and Annalea Lane were both on target for the visitors in the second half.
