Updated 5.30pm:
Emergency services in Slough say a fire at recycling centre in Farnham Road has been extinguished.
People had been urged to avoid the Farnham Road area while firefighters - drafted in from Slough, Maidenhead, Windsor and Bracknell - tackled the blaze.
Fire services received reports of a fire at 11.02am this morning (March 17), and Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue (RBFRS) crews and Thames Valley Police were sent to the scene.
A specialist water carrier vehicle from Bracknell Fire Station was deployed to the scene as well as an aerial ladder platform from Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service.
We are currently responding to a fire on Farnham Road in Slough. Please avoid the area if possible.

Update 1.45pm:
Buses travelling through Slough into Beaconsfield have been diverted due to the fire.
Operator Carousel Buses has said due to the fire, near the Three Tuns Traffic lights, its routes to Beaconsfield have been redirected through Stoke Poges.
Due to fire at the top of Farnham Rd near Three Tuns Traffic lights. All Beaconsfield bound services 103/583 will divert via Stoke Poges / Oatlands Drive & Sheffield Road. Sorry for the inconvenience caused
