Commuters will be affected by tube strikes in the capital next week as London Underground workers plan to walk out.
There aren't any strikes confirmed on the Elizabeth line but planned strike action by RMT members is likely to cause severe disruption across the whole underground network.
The Elizabeth line may be subject to last-minute changes, some services will be busier than usual and affected by station closures where stations also serve London Underground lines, and a one-way or queueing system may also be in place.
Tube strikes are scheduled to take place from tomorrow (January 5) to Thursday, January 11, with two days of full workforce strikes on Monday, January 8 and Wednesday, January 10.
TfL currently expects the following underground service throughout the week:
During the following times, Elizabeth line services will not call at Bond Street, Tottenham Court Road, Farringdon, Liverpool Street (Low Level) and Whitechapel:
Customers who need to travel during this time are advised to plan, check before they travel and allow more time.
A statement from Transport for London said the ‘rolling programme’ of RMT strikes will include up to a week of industrial action and hopes things will return to normal on January 12.
