Train services between London Paddington and Reading are experiencing disruption after a section of the line suffered a power failure, Great Western Railway has said.
The operator said trains between the two stations may be cancelled or delayed due to a problem with the overhead cabling used to power trains between Hayes and Harlington and Paddington.
National Rail has warned Elizabeth line passengers to 'allow for short notice alterations and platform changes', and to listen out for announcements about changes. Disruption is expected to last until 10pm.
The power failure comes after passengers faced disruption due to a problem with the overhead power equipment in the Paddington area on Thursday (September 18).
