HENLEY residents came out strongly against plans for a new one-way traffic system for the town. More than 100 people attended a public meeting on Tuesday, which ended in a show of hands – and only a handful of people voted in favour. A similar one-way scheme was put forward in July 1973, but there was such a public outcry that the plans were scrapped.
