Maidenhead Festival team to take over soundstage at Maidenhead Town Show

05:32PM, Thursday 11 September 2025

The team at Maidenhead Festival will be taking over the soundstage for the first time at the popular Maidenhead Town Show this October.

The much-loved annual event, organised by Craft Coop, will be taking over the High Street and Nicholsons Centre on Sunday, October 19.

A celebration of local creativity, the show will bring elements of a typical country show to the town centre, all while raising money for Thames Valley Adventure Playground (TVAP).

The free, family-friendly show will feature 70 food, community and craft stalls and street vendors.

There will be a host of competitions to get involved in, including photography, baking, and arts and crafts, sponsored by Hobbycraft.

This year, the team at Maidenhead Festival will be taking over the soundstage, and the dog show will be managed by Bruce’s Doggy Daycare.

Guests can take part in sensory sessions on charity Stand Out For Autism’s Sensory Bus on the High Street, where Basil & Crew’s mobile farm will also be stationed.

Youngsters can also enjoy a children’s trail, incorporating the Waterside Quarter.

Organisers are calling for ‘as many local volunteers as possible’ to help on the day with aspects such as marshalling and helping with stalls.

The event is sponsored by the Louis Baylis Charitable Trust, Shanly Foundation, Craft Coop CIC and the Nicholsons Centre, as well as Hobbycraft, Bruce’s Doggy Daycare (Cookham) and Maidenhead Festival.

Local groups, GoodGym Windsor and Maidenhead, the Rotary Club of Maidenhead Bridge and ‘various community-spirited’ volunteers also support the event.
