Great Western Railway services running between Reading and Slough towards London Paddington are currently delayed due to a safety inspection on the track.
Trains on this section of the line are running with a 20mph speed limit and therefore services may be delayed as a result.
GWR has advised disruption will last till 4pm today (November 24).
Customer advice on the disruption from the GWR website reads:
“One of our drivers has reported a rough ride between Reading and Slough on the fast line to London Paddington.
“As such, a 20mph speed restriction must be imposed until Network Rail track staff attend and inspect. There is no estimated time for this at present.
“Impact will likely be delays only at present. If this changes we shall advise accordingly.
“We apologise for any inconvenience caused to your journey with us today."
