SONNING Common and Peppard A enjoyed a 10-0 Division 1 Reading and District League victory against a weak Tidmarsh B side with hat-tricks from Gary Morgan, Jamie Barlow and Nigel Maltby.
Denise Weller rediscovered her best form by winning twice in the C teams 7-3 defeat against Our Lady of Peace D in Division 2, Weller beating Graham Stark
11-7, 11-7, 11-7 and Simon Brookes 4-11, 11-9, 11-7, 11-8.
The D team also lost 7-3 as they were beaten at Kingfisher H in Division 3, Oliver Bonser beating Emrah Bulut 13-11, 10-12, 12-10, 14-12 in a tense opener while reserve Graham Paddick also managed a win over Emrah 11-13, 11-9, 11-4, 9-11, 11-8.

A former head of music at Newlands Girls’ School in Maidenhead has been banned from teaching indefinitely over a litany of ‘sexually motivated’ advances on students.
Police were called to the Jubilee River in Datchet shortly before 10am on Monday following reports of someone in the water.
The first Captain’s Drive In took place at Mill Ride in Ascot on Sunday to mark the start of the club’s year, which saw more than 100 members attend the ‘incredibly well-supported event’.
