SONNING Common and Peppard A managed an 8-2 win against a two-man Kingfisher C side in the Reading and District League, Ed Lush winning both his matches while Nigel Maltby and Jamie Barlow each won once, with Barlow and Lush teaming up to win a tight doubles contest 11-6, 9-11, 11-9, 8-11 11-7.
Malcolm Gregory and Simon Berry both got maximums as the B team beat the C team 7-3 in their derby encounter in Division 2, while the D team ended the first half of the season just two points above the Division 3 drop zone. In Division 4 Simon Blake managed two wins and Graham Paddick a single in their 7-3 defeat at Our Lady of Peace G.
